It’s well written and with great pictures to help explain these weird and wonderful creatures. The story flows nicely but also allows you to pause and start again the next evening.

Amadeus and the Sea Dragon takes us back to a magically mysterious time when ammonites roamed the sea. Although these creatures went extinct over 60million years ago, this cleverly written book brings them back to life helping us imagine what the living creature may have been like. This book is very informative yet full of humour and fun. I would highly reccomend it to anyone that is interested in sea creatures and educational settings that teach the National Curriculum as it has abundant learning opportunities for all ages particularly within Key Stage 2 Science.

She was so excited to read a book about ammonites and belemites as there’s so many books about dinos but we’ve never found another one about these prehistoric sea creatures. It’s given her an understanding of what kind of things would have happened to the fossils that she has found during their life. Fantastic. Highly recommend.
